As its name says, it allows users to create AI character of their own choice and chat them. Or, you can also chat with the existing characters such as Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein, Taylor Swift, etc.

What is Character.ai?
Character.ai is a chatbot service that generates human-like text responses and participates in conversations. It was launched in September, 2022.
The chatbot allows you to create your AI own characters, craft their personalities, set certain parameters, and then set them live. Hence, allowing others from the community to chat with them. The good part about Character.ai is that it can remember the conversation and respond accordingly.
You can use it in various languages and as a mobile app as well.

Charater.ai has a monthly premium subscription as well for US$9.99. This premium subscription is known as C.ai+ that comes with perks such as:

How to use it?
Step 1: Google Character.ai or click here.
Step 2: As the web page opens, you will find different characters like Stella, Liberian Linda, Trip Planner etc. You can chat any of these characters without having to create an account.
However, creating an account is a must to create your own character. Hence, we move to the next step.
Step 3: Click on the Sign In option on the upper right corner. Then, sign into either your Google, Facebook, or Apple account.
Step 4: Now, enter a username and click on “Join Character”.
Step 5: Now that you have signed in, click on “Create a Character” on the menu on the left corner.
Step 6: Now, you’ll be asked a few questions about the appearance, name, and other stuff of your character. Fill in, and move on.
You can either create your own avatar or add an image for the tool to process into an avatar.
Its a great feature to create your own AI character with Avatars. But, chatting with famous real life characters, scientist, psychologist, movie stars, iron man, etc. is even more fun.
